He dropped the helmet and hit him with the top of his helmet. Met the literal definition of the rule.

Nope, any part of the facemask is the front of the helmet….. not crown.

Targeting. Looks like his face mask is buried in the QB’s chest. The head snap is cause he just got hit hard. Wuss football now a days, might as well start playing flag football.

Looked to me like his face mask was what he hit with, but it doesn’t matter the referees have spoken. The tone was set when they stopped game to review hit be XT.
