You can't start 18-4 and 10-1 and miss the Big Dance and not have repercussions. Whether he stays or goes just may depend on what Neff sees out of this team in the last few games. Do they look like they have given up and called it a season or do they respond like a team that knows they let one get away and want to finish strong?
If they continue to lay an egg with a weak finish, I don't see how Neff will hang on any longer.

I was in a bar the other day that had a nice banner about ten feet inside the front door that read,
"No bitching or whining beyond this point."
I often wish all Clemson related forums had such a banner, motto and similarly minded participants.
Way too many people whine and ##### their lives away.

Neff sent a letter out last year and it told fans he expects Brad to lead us to the tournament this year. If we don’t make it and Neff doesn’t make a change it makes him look bad. But I’m holding my judgment until the end of the season. We may finish strong.

If we are going to “finish strong” we need to start the strength part pretty quickly, because right now it’s not looking very bright and shiny.

I think it was made pretty clear to all parties that it was a must make the NCAA tournament year. That's still possible, but wouldn't be the case if the season ended today.

Yes Sir. Brownell said a few weeks ago that this was his best team and most experienced. That alone would do it... especially with the conference being weak.

In an incredibly down year for the league, the low SOS rankings, coupled with all of the players returning, there is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for not making the NCAAT this season. Yet here we are !!!!

It really is a down year for the ACC, but it kinda is the same ole results for our Clemson team, or so it seem. I still want us to win out and make a great showing at the tourney, but my wanting it won’t make the dream come true. Apparently, neither can Brad.

Tournaments. Conf and NCAA. That's all that matters. If you can't do something in these tournaments, you don't deserve to coach for very long.
Accepting anything less is and doing nothing to improve is a dereliction of duty.

I agree. Baring a complete collapse like going 0-4 then losing the first game in the tournament, I doubt he gets fired this year either. Another year that Brad does just enough to keep his job.
