Yeah but we recruited them a long time ago. Last few years have been pretty barren. Would be nice if this turned things back in our direction.

It seemed we were about to get his commitment, then he suddenly cancelled his visit this weekend and then we re-offered this IMG guy.

Dabo doesn’t like the coaching staff at IMG Academy after the situation in 2022 after Venables left for Oklahoma. We had 3 players committed at the time and they assured the coaching staff that Venables’ departure didn’t change anything and they were locked in.. the day before signing day they all flipped elsewhere. Shocked he’s willing to open that door again down there.

The last goober got hired by UNC to help coach Special Teams and there is a new head coach down at IMG now. So maybe that's why they've reopened that door.

He's a once in a decade type of player and every school in the country knows it. We are lucky to be in consideration.

If Clemson is able to sign Sammy Brown and Tyler Atkinson in back to back years, we will likely see the best linebacker duo in Tigers history.
