Literally they lose EVERY season to the only two teams with any semblance of a pulse for the last 20+ years. When is the last time they beat a team from South of the Mason Dixon line OR Mich and Buckeys? a COMPLETE Farce!

Usc then proceeded to lose to minnesota and Maryland. That's not saying too much. They shouldn't have needed a comeback in the first place.

I believe Miami, Iowa St, BYU, Indiana, Pittsburgh, Army and Navy are all undefeated. So what sets Penn St apart?

Not that I think PSU is a top 5 team but they started way higher at 8/9
I think most everyone knows that they are overrated but I get why they are ranked where they are

Unfortunately if you take UGA off our schedule our opponents are 16-25. Penn States opponents are 17-25.
Once they get trounced by OSU and we add UGA back in our opponents records will likely again be identical
So they are doing what we are doing, winning the games we are expected to win. They can’t do anything more

Pedo st. LSwho and rocky bottom are all ranked too high. AP poll is trash this week. Cant wait for cfp polls to come out. Hopefully they get it right and don't use AP poll as their template.

They don’t play Michigan this year. I follow PSU closely as that is where my better half graduated from. They look to have the best team since Franklin arrived, and it would be cool to see them make the CFP!

And you ask when was the last time they beat Michigan or tOSU (the two teams that would beat them every year)? Not sure, but people used to say the same thing about Michigan (why ranked so high? they suck) until they didn’t when khaki pants got them their back to back wins against tOSU and a MNC

They beat Auburn in 2022
They beat Michigan in 2020

Illinois is a better team this year; but they aren't ready for the big time. PSU won 21-7.
Bowling Green was a 34-27 win, curious!
They needed OT to beat Southern California 33-30. But, USC is 3-4 and also lost to Maryland. "Maryland".
