With All Due Respect ...

IF I were a 4* running back who committed to a school based on no offer from Clemson ... because they made it clear that they were "all in" with another, preferred RB prospect ... unless I had a long, long desire to be a tiger, I'd tell the Clemson coaches to "pound sand". But that's just me ...

You're making an assumption that the staff

wasn't upfront with each and every one of these guys to start with. Some will think they are at home where they are, some won't.
Pledger all but begged for an offer, committed to Oklahoma and now is poised to flip to Nebraska.

Only thing that should be stopping him from committing to Clemson, at this point, is a Clemson offer, then. Not much time has elapsed since "Big Game Bob" has retired. However, if we put others on a pedestal before him like we did with White then he will go elsewhere, imo.

I suspect what's going on right now is to extend offers

to those that they had previously been in contact with,to see who still has interest and will show up at the ALL IN Cookout.

If he did reach out to the staff, it would seem an offer is all he needs. Maybe he's leaning Nebraska right now because he doesn't have it yet. CDS and staff must be higher on someone else, or this would seem to be a no brainer.

You may be right but I would imagine our staff was up front and said

We really like you but we promised we'd wait for him. There is something to be said for being straightforward but yes I get it especially if you could be on osu team. But somehow I think we'll be just fine.

Unfortunately, I'm one of those guys that would react like the OP.
That said, maybe some of these guys reaction would be to 'have a chip on their shoulder' and want to come here and prove to the staff how wrong they were not to include them initially. Maybe. Doubtful though.
Personally, I think Feaster, Fuller, Choice, and Etienne are going to be a force to stop. Honestly, you could almost call KB a RB, so we could RUN every down if needed, and always have fresh legs. I'm glad I'm not the coach or staff, 'cause I'd be wanting to find a big OLine guy that will make our RB's look like Heisman candidates.

I can argue for your point and against your point. Every recruit is different and our program is at a different point now than it was when you sent out mass offers and hopes to fill your class with good talent.
