-First post in a while so let's get to it.
-Some may have seen that recent DT Khurtiss Perry received two crystal ball predictions. Alabama has started to push and Perry visited there this weekend. Looking at who put in the crystal balls we could be looking at a silent situation, but I have not checked on Perry in a few weeks so I do not know. Clemson is going to have to draw him to campus, and I am not sure where they would go from there.
-Jaleel Skinner is set to announce Friday, Texas gained some momentum this Summer and I think they wind up finishing second, and I expect Skinner to play for an SEC team, one of his family members told that team as much anyway last week, but I do not want to ruin his commitment; however, I am sure you can see who that team is. Not shockingly I expect Josh Sapp will be offered soon, after Delp makes his commitment to UGA public.
-I think that Clemson is in a better spot for Indiana LB Drayk Bowen than most would believe. Still think the in-state ND will be tough to beat, he was there this weekend and will be there again later this month, but Clemson is going to make them work and Bowen had a great visit to Clemson....Just remember that note for later down the line. Clemson is still in hot pursuit of Andre Greene Jr, and they are in a knock out drag out with UNC, and to a lesser extent UGA. I think UGA has helped themselves this season, but I heard from multiple people that Greene was not crazy about his Summer trip to Athens. I would give Clemson a very small edge but UNC and UGA, UNC to a greater extent, are right there.
-I really like where Clemson is with CB 23' CB target Avieon Terrell, yes he is the brother of AJ. You could maybe see some movement there some time this year...

Difficulties in the field and sliding out of top 25? I’m sure we are being negatively recruited against that we peaked or whatever. Don’t believe that is true at all but wondering if you’re seeing anything.

I think that Clemson has built a little cushion in that regard with most of these recruits. Most of the kids now only remember Clemson being a national championship contender. For most recruits relationship and feel are still going to play important roles. Now you can not have consecutive down years.

Not be ones that would be all in. So definitely would like to stay in that rare air we’ve been in but not the end of the world either. I do hate seeing the ones we knew were going to be good like white at Georgia and gouraige (sp??) at FL this past weekend. But we obviously have the talent just need to get everyone well that we can and be more of a team. If there’s anyone up for the job it’s Dabo

Visits at the end of the month.
At the beginning of the Summer I thought Alabama, Clemson, or Texas with UGA being a wildcard that I do not know what to do with. I think they really like UGA and they had a good visit, I have not heard how the Alabama visit went, but one can imagine that it went great also. Clemson certainly has not helped it's cause with its play this year, but it is not going to render them out of the competition. Texas is now the wildcard for me. If Texas was a guaranteed national championship contender I think that Arch would go there because he loves Sark, but Texas has the most to show on the field this year.
-To recap let's see how the Clemson visit goes.

Paw, thank you… your updates are substantial and much appreciated. I tend to ignore any article or post like “so and so has Clemson in their top 5” or “so and so loved their visit to Clemson” because they don’t mean much and shouldn’t be considered recruiting updates.

I’m sorry if I missed this or someone else might be able to give me a little info on this subject but besides Arch Manning is Clemson pursuing anyone else yet? I know we have Cade coming in next year (22) but just wondering.
