color blocks on lots of photos. It's not confined to any one site. Is it something I've done, or is it a new thing where I'm going to have to pay to play?

It's not any one website. It's happening on Yahoo's front page. Google searches. The example I attached is Facebook Marketplace.

I've had that happen on occasion on internal sites at work, so it isn't a permission thing. It usually resolves when I reload the page so I caulk it up to something not quite loading right or in the right order. Perhaps it is bandwidth or computer resources and something else with a higher priority is happening at the same time.
Does reloading the page help?

Have you tried a different web browser to see if the issue persists? I'd start by trying another browser (e.g., Edge, Brave). If that doesn't fix it, make sure your video/graphics card drivers are up to date. Also would not hurt to do a malware scan (e.g., MalwareBytes).
