Overall record, conference record, strength of schedule, wins against top 10 teams, recruiting, and academic progress over the last four years all show that Day has been better than Dabo.
If we are talking about who is currently the better coach, it’s Day.
As I said, Dabo has had more success in his career. But if you are having to go back to last decade to support your argument, you’re the one cherry picking, not me.

You conveniently left out that Day has lost to his rival each of the last 4 years while Dabo has gone 2-2 and Dabo has won 2 conference championships to Day’s 0 during that same recent stretch. Those facts support the alternative. But we all know you ignore any data that doesn’t support your tired narrative that we have done nothing but underachieve and Dabo’s arrogance and complacency has rendered him obsolete during that time frame.

even though their rival won a national championship and ours didn’t come close, that’s fine.
And if you want to compare conference titles even though we play in a much easier conference, that’s cool.
So Dabo has: better record versus his rival and more conference championships.
And Day has: head to head blowout win, better overall record against a tougher schedule, better conference record against a tougher schedule, better record against top 10 opponents, better final Coaches’ Poll finishes, better recruiting, and better academic performance this decade.
Day still wins unfortunately. It’s not really close. Hopefully Dabo’s recent changes to his philosophy on hiring coaches and recruiting will help him regain his status as the better coach.

Someone else asked for some data to support your better academic performance claim. Did you provide any?
If you want to include the “blowout” loss in 2020 when OSU had only played 6 games in the regular season and no conference championship game prior to playing us after we had played a full season minus the SC game I guess that’s ok too. I guess you have to include that to further your narrative since it’s the only time Day or OSU has beaten Clemson. Ever.
So Day still only wins in your dreams.

So you found a little known metric that measures how many players remained in school and academically eligible that OSU scored higher than Clemson for one year only (2022-2023) and believe that means Day’s teams have achieved better academic performance? I have attached the link to the NCAA site where you can research the results year by year and from 2020 forward, that one year is the only time OSU’s football has scored higher than Clemson’s. Please feel free to keep searching for another morsel of something that can be exaggerated to support your claim. I believe graduation rate is a much better metric of how players are prepared for their future.
