He did say the most exciting 25 seconds in 1985. What we didn't know is that he said it in the Friday afternoon walkthrough before the 1985 Ga game but never said it during the game. He was with Bob Bradley and other SID staff. Bradley made notes and put it in the next press guide that BM had said it was the most exciting 25 seconds. Others picked it up over time and shazam-----you get a great story. Bradley never said he said it during the game. Didn't matter.
The first time BM said it during a game was the 2013 Georgia game.
Pretty good source for this story....Tim Bourret told it at the Chsn County Clemson club in December.

I don't mind Fowler, he generally does a good job of remaining neutral when he's calling a game. The only thing that bothers me about him is that when gets excited at a big play his voice sounds a lot like Todd Ellis does...Kinda like a drunken frat boy.
