From a perspective of attending home game, I have always liked 3:30. Great time to get to lot early, park, tailgate for hours, see the game and be home before wee hours of the morning.

From a tv exposure standpoint, what is better? I know many badmouth the noon start with NCSU and say it was because the beatdown from Tenn on the Pack (no mention of the one we took from UGA). But...isn't 12 a better TV slot than 3:30 for exposure?

I say 3:30. Time to get to the game, park and tailgate like you said.

Plus, most people have their "to do" list completed by then.

It really depends on the weather.

Night games in September or early October. 3:30 till the Daylight Savings ends in November, then nooners.

Depends on the month. 7 or 8 PM in August - October. 3:30 from there.***

There's something in these hills.

For attending live, I prefer 7-8 PM in the early parts of season so I'm not roasting alive in the sun (plus saves my ginger butt $$$ on sunblock). Later in year, when starts cooling off, then noon-3:30 is a preferred time.

TV viewing, prefer 3:30 or 8 PM - get done most/all of what I need to do for the day before I settle in for 3+ hours. Unfortunately, I don't see us getting too many 3:30 or 8 kickoffs anymore thanks to the new SEC/ESPN contract unless it's an ACCN/CW game or when playing @ ND & NBC has the game - ABC & main ESPN, I see us being noon games if those are the network assignments.

As for best slot for exposure...honestly @ this rate, if you're a matchup that ppl want to see, they're gonna find you & watch you regardless of time slot. Like the UGA game...noon timeslot, but we had the 3rd-best viewership for the entire weekend. Michigan-Ohio State is always a noon game...past 3 years they had best viewership for entire Thanksgiving/Rivalry weekend.
