Hopefully the players get to choose which one is on their helmet, and at least most of them choose the unifying ones.

From those pictures, it appears that the use of the stickers is a personal choice, rather than a team statement. I noticed so far:
* Woke Forest is using the "Unity" fist sticker on the side and "Back Lives Matter on the back of the helmet. I haven't yet seen their jerseys.
* Duke has the "Unity" fist sticker on the back of the helmet.... not very large.
* Syracuse made no team uniform changes, but I saw one player with "Equality" in place of his name on the back of his jersey.
* UNC has their own patch that appears to be a combination of "Unity" and "BLM".
In my opinion, so far, Woke Forest is trying to make the biggest statement.

A sticker is not going to hurt anyone. Doesn't bother me, especially if the players chose what to put on their helmets.

I agree. I don't think any of our players support burning or looting or violence. BLM was hijacked...it wasn't originally intended for what is happening now. I get why some are mad though.

I love Clemson football and all that goes with it. I am fine with Unity, Equality and Justice. I am totally fine with the phrase Black Lives Matter. However I will never understand how we have a sticker with a clinched fist - symbol of revolution - on the Clemson helmets! It's not just a sticker and it's just not OK! I cannot believe Dabo Swinney the AD and Clemson administration put their blessing on that. As was said before this us not about racial equality but overthrowing the US government by whatever means necessary. Clemson is showing disregard for the "victim's" victims and apparently endorses these same violent tactics - violent tactics used everyday For the past 100+ days across major US cities to bring this country down. And to think this is happening the day after 9/11. I am shocked to say the least. At the very best this naïveté. At the very worst it is complicity with enemies of this country.

Lost so much respect for Dabo and the administration...There are other ways of expressing your support for equality (if that's what you believe is a pressing issue at the moment) than outright love for BLM. Personally, i dont recall hearing many cases where the "victim" wasnt either a criminal, in the act of committing a crime, resisting for no reason, or associating themselves with a criminal...if these are the cases you choose to indicate there's a systemic problem with racism you should probably rethink your own morals.

What exactly is there to protest? That cop is in jail and will be found guilty.
Each "incident" needs to be reviewed and let our justice system do its job. We do NOT live in a Jim Crow society. It has been 50 years since schools were integrated. And many colleges and companies prefer to recruit qualified minorities.

I believe that our players are focused and want to win another championship. Sure they want racial equality; but team unity and focus is evident in how they go about their business. They are the best example of what a team is about. I am proud of these young men and their coaches!!

May have been a fair freedom of expression if players were able to choose whatever statement they wanted to put on their helmets and not just given a few approved lines to choose from. That's not free expression at. That's like saying 'you can say whatever you want to say as long as you say what we tell you to say'.
