This Bill Maher / Glenn Loury … and now, Lori Lightfoot … discussion about the root causes of inner city black violence is the LAST thing that Democrats will discuss truthfully.
There MUST be a solution in which Democrats extract tax money for useless programs that can be spun as being compassionate but which don’t get close to that core causation that Maher / Loury / Lightfoot dared to discuss.
The perpetual maintenance of the blacks-as-victims-of-racism is simply too powerful of a political weapon for Democrats to dismiss simply for the good of America and FOR THE BLACKS THEMSELVES.
BTW, L.Lightfoot is a gutless disgrace. Never once, while in power as Chicago Mayor, did she speak as truthfully and earnestly as she did in the video. Only after her political aspirations had been crushed does she summon the courage to speak the truth about this matter.

Do you have a child? Did you teach them that there are good and bad people throughout all races? Did your teach your children that they are responsible for their own actions? Did you teach them that everyone else is responsible and accountable for their own actions? Did you teach your children that all men are created equal and are capable of making their own path with hard work and dedication? Did you observe your children and monitor who they hung around and forbade them to associate with anyone whom you didn’t see them fit to be around? Come on Cac it’s common sense.
I can’t speak for everyone, but I know for a fact that most of the African American parents have done probably everything they could to try to raise their children the best way they could. All except monitored who their children hung around and associated themselves with.
I’ve seen kids from multiple races be outstanding students through elementary/ middle school, but when kids get in high school, they are more impressionable by their peers and are more susceptible to do more stupid things. One way to eliminate most of that is for parents to start being parents and monitor who their children hang around. Have you seen parents these days? Most people worry more about where their new iphone is instead of their own kid. Tell me I’m wrong.

Is it not easier for 2 parents to raise a child? Easier for 2 parents to monitor their child’s social interactions? 2 parents to enforce household rules that are commanded?

Let's try poor public schools that leave many of these young black men without the skills to earn a decent living with a reflexive push against charter schools by the libbies which continues the cycle.
Perhaps more important is the lack of a strong father in the vast majority of these homes to put the brakes on these young men. Their peers not much older than them are often the role models these young kids and men are left to choose from.

Or someone who continues to journey on maybe personal development, career path, focusing ahead. Contributing to society by volunteering in local communities, by establishing relationships with local business owners and up bringing honor and distinguished men and women.
Be representative of your proud culture, but also be understanding that all races are guilty of equal atrocities at one point in history.
You also have to accept the idea that EACH individual is responsible for their own path forward in life. Choose wisely, because there are plenty decisions that can alter life in an instant ( for the better or worse).
With all that being said, theres definitely a self evaluation and a self conscious choice can be made here to do there right or wrong thing here, No?

any measure, examined census data and concluded that three demographic characteristics, if held together, almost guarantee eventual middle class status. Those three are:
- Hold a high school diploma
- Have any full time job
- Wait until married to have children
Close to 80% of people who hold those three are at or will rise to middle class. This held true across all ethnicities, eliminating race as a cause for attaining/not attaining middle class status. We can discuss why we have an underclass that does not value those three characteristics, but it is not race or poverty. Poverty is a result, not a cause, of not pursuing those three.

"big cities". Big cities when our country was founded were, liberal. Big cities in Europe, were liberal, for a few thousand years. "Big Cities" were liberal in Roman times. "Big Cities" were liberal during the times of ancient Greece. Big Cities are "liberal" today. Always has been this way, always will be this way. There's a very good reason for that too.
Big cities must, necessarily, curtain "freedom". It is necessary to ensure prosperity. Again, always has been, always will be. It was the original delineation of our founding fathers. There is a list 20-feet long detailing things you can not do in big cities that people can freely do in rural areas. Burn garbage. Have septic tanks. Have a well. Grow their own food. The list is endless.
Our original political divide, as a nation, has always been urban versus rural. That hasn't changed.
