I could see S Jones playing that 5th man as a DB. These are my guesses but I have no clue who starts at Safety or the other CB.

Spector was Smith's backup and played well. I don't see why he wouldn't be penciled in as a starter.

Lol no crap but it's fun to guess imo. I think for the most part the D is wide open and whoever wins the job in the spring and fall will get it. I know that's what Dabo always says but we know Davis will start at DT and DK will be at one of the CBs. We know Thomas, Henry, Rudolph, and Foster will he in the mix at DE. We know Skalski will start. We know Turner will most likely start at Safety.

I thought there was an article about it a few months ago. I know he did well at CB but I thought that was the coaches plan. I assumed it meant Booth, who was supposedly hurt all year, and another were ready for next year.

Watch out for the true freshman Trenton Simpson, that kid is probably more talented that anyone we have at LB. Will be here in the Spring too.

CB: DK and Goodrich
Safeties: Nolan and Charleston or Zanders
The question is definitely who replaces Simmons. I'd be shocked if Spector doesn't take over for Chad.

Keep an eye on Jalyn Phillips and Ray Thornton. They are that hybrid breed of S/LB.
