When Notre Dame plays That Ocry0 St on Sept 3? I just may have to pull for ND so it will look that much better when we beat them in November. Plus I just don’t ever see a scenario where I would pull for “That” other team.

Of course, Notre Dame because they are the only top team on our schedule and we need them to do well for strength of schedule.

20 years ago, the answer would have been easy. Ohio State. Notre Dame was #1, literally, on my "I will never root for" list.
Today, the answer is just as easy. Notre Dame.
I still don't like ND, but there are a few teams higher up on my "never root for list." If Ohio State isn't #1, it is at least #1b. Urban Meyer will have that effect on people.

ND may beat us every now and again but they’re not really the same kind of challenger that OSU is. ND is having an outlier year in recruiting, but we compete with O310 state every year in recruiting. Anything that lessens O310 state’s profile is good for us.

Ohio State will be hurting on defense this year, especially the first part of the season, the offense will score over 40 a game, i can't see ND beating them, but i would love to see them do it.
