I’m leaning toward Pitt, although I like both programs. I have family with strong Pitt ties. Would be nice to see one of the northern schools get a footing and start consistently competing at a high level. And as happy as I am for both of Wake’s fans, I just don’t see them consistently being up there.
But like I said, neither team upsets me as champs, other than they aren’t Clemson.

If an ACCCG is scheduled and Clemson isn't in it does it really count as a championship game?
As far as the game goes... My prediction is that they will be giving away tickets to anyone who has red blood cells in their body to fill the stadium and there will still be more empty seats than full ones.

I'm pulling for both teams to score 40+ points in a back and forth affair. I don't really care who wins.
Combine that with the snooze fest that will be the Iowa/Michigan game going on at the same time and maybe the ACC can get some viewers and some positive publicity.
A game between two teams who don't have enough fans to fill their home stadiums needs some wow factor to get any sort of attention in the national eye.

I've sort of liked Pitt ever since they crapped the bed against Penn State back in 1981, opening the way for our 1st national championship.
Current Pitt coach does seem to be a jerk though.

But for so long I've waited for Pitt to make an impact as I thought originally they would be a good ACC football add. Also, Pitt's coach doesn't bother me like he does others.
So I don't think I'll know until I know whilst watching/listening to the game.
I guess I just want at least 100 pts to be put up.

After Clemson I got post grad things done at Wake so I'll lean that way. I also never thought they would never reach this level of play.
