Putin thought NATO was less unified and that he had more US support than he actually had because of Trump and the MAGAs. Putin listened to Trump too much and thought this would be a cakewalk.

I saw the lady on FOX in the morning yesterday, who sits in the middle of Brian Killmeade(who works his butt off) and that new guy from ESPN. Anyway, that chick was going nuts for Russia and just spewing outrageous hate for Ukraine. Even her fellow hosts were shocked, although tbey agreed at times, how nuts she was. It was crazy.
Se even called the leader of Ukraine a psychopath and praised Putin. . She drank the kool-aid. I think her love life might be bad.
