Dont know if Id want to be the coach to take over either job. One is a political mess, the other is just a dumpster fire. Not enough money to put up with that junk.

Ehhh. I think SC is a better job than UVA or Maryland.

Miami seems to be polarizing. Some people still think it's a great job just waiting for the right coach, i disagree.
I think VT is a better job provided they don't try to be cheap.
SoCal is the best job available by a mile.

their proclivity for 'student activism' in the form of holding your program hostage over specious ########.
Pinkel's secret was recruiting well in Texas, a feat that will not be easily duplicated by any head coach.
Remember when Kansas was good for like a year? Yeah, this is like that, Pinkel just lasted longer. Missouri is not a top 40 job in college football. It's the worst job in the SEC West, easily.
South Carolina is historically terrible, but if you don't think that a GREAT hire can come in there and build a winning program over two or three years, you're deluding yourself just like the coots that think they're going to ruin our season.

It's better than Vanderbilt out of the entire SEC. That's the list.

Missouri has internal problems, but the job has tremendous potential over time. Despite being in the SEC east, I see these Tigers as staying relevant for a while. The USuck job is perhaps slightly better due to new facilities, but Missouri has traditionally earned championships while USC is recognized as the graveyard of coaching. I would put Maryland on a lesser level. If Syracuse fires their coach and UGa. loses their coach as rumored USC will drop in importance for a top notch hire.
Go Tigers!

this board. SC has low expectations and a large, loyal fan base willing to DEIFY any coach that actually wins there. The school is willing to pay good money, gets the SEC reputation despite playing in the junky division of the conference, and has a decent recruiting bed to work in.

Are Baylor and TCU better jobs than Texas? Is VCU basketball a better job than schools like Maryland and Georgetown because they made a final 4 more recently?
