So yes Mafah’s shoulder is hurt. We don’t trust our younger running backs to pass block or hold onto the ball, so we roll with what we got. Mafah is also an effective decoy. I would like to see our other running backs though.

That's what I've been saying. He is slow, at least running to the outside he is. He doesn't make smaller d-backs pay when they tackle him. He runs out of bounds a lot instead of taking on the safety and getting that extra yard or two. And today he missed a couple of key blocks. We need a scat back

With the lack of any significant playing time for freshman rbs this may truly be a spot we need to find a transfer. With mafah gone we have no running game at all apparently.

Did you not watch the game? Pitt was determined to stop Mafah and he had no chance to get any yards. The game was in Cade's hands and he came through.

The game where Magah avoided contact when he Did touch the ball? Or maybe you didn’t watch the last game when he was doing the same (despite gaining more yardage). No we’re watching. You’re too busy cheering

He did. But the second half was his worst ever. We should have back up running backs getting carries next week.

Mafah is somewhat hurt. His shoulder is banged up. Haynes supposedly has very good speed.
