Why? What is so wrong about joining the B1G. You know they want the southeast coverage and a big time football program.
And then we dont have to join the SEC and still maintain that f you scar mindset not in their conference

What would be so bad? How about travel to Wisconsin or Nebraska in November. How about the sheer distance to 90 percent of the schools in the Big. That's what would be so bad.

Personally could care less either way. We need more funds.
Michigan, MSU,Nebraska (I believe the new coach will get them back to some sort of relevancy), Penn State, USC, UCLA, Penn State and OSU are pretty good teams. Academics is better in the B1G.
SEC is ran by Bama. Do not care to feel like we do now with UNC running the ACC.
Great teams and more money either way.

How many went to Notre Dame...BC...Syracuse...Miami? How do those differ from Northwestern, Wisconsin, tOSU, Michigan, Penn St, Rutgers, Indiana, Purdue, Michigan St? For the others, how often will there be match-ups on the road? What about the ACC team or two that tags along...won't they, most likely, continue to be regular opponents? And if you fly, what's another hour on the plane, if that? Omaha...MSP...those worry you?
Frankly, I don't want to listen to the SEC programs regale us with how they threw us a lifeline! Nope, I'd like to be the member of the conference that pounds them into irrelevance! (A guy can dream, you know!  )

That's an attractive division on the pigskin side. Invite the rest plus a few others in for their own football division at its own value level and the rest of the sports mixed in.

I would love to see these 8 plus Oklahoma State, TCU, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Cincinnati, California, and Baylor get together and see if they couldn’t get a sizable TV deal from someone other than ESPN.

West Va is the only Big 12 team we should consider. East coast rivals with passionate fan bases is the key for this mix. They would be a natural fit with that top squad. Cincinnati is a borderline.

If the SEshe fails to act appropriately, the the BIG is waiting with open arms. That’s cool. That’ll work.
We would work ANYWHERE as far as being the most lucrative or nearly so, in yes, both the SEC and ACC. Probe me wrong. I mean prove me wrong, I dare ya ya.
