So how long is the overreaction going to last?

2 days? 1 week? First game of the season and we lost by a pick six. So what? I remember Alabama losing like this to LSU 9-6 during the regualar season, and then kicking their ### in the Natty. Geesh.

No. In my mind it was who won the O line

Battle that would determine this game even before it started. Not over reaction but confirmation of a trend from last year's O where we always seemed to be in 3 and 9 even against cupcakes. I thought we make some progress. UGA' s O got more production against our top D then we got against their top D.

Our Top D was missing an important piece. Give us our best DT and take away theirs and see what happens.

I saw us lose by a TD on a pick 6. It was also game 1. I also watch the NFL, where teams play each other twice during the regular season and quite often split those games.

If not for that pick 6, unfortunately we would have still likely lost by the same score. From what I saw, Georgia was moving the ball effectively their last drive trying to run out the clock and it's a good chance they would have scored if they needed to. Worst case would have been a field goal opportunity for the win as time expired.

You're right its not over. If we go undefeated with average victory plus 30 and Usuk is undefeated when we play them, we beat them by 20, we are right back in this thing. Maybe a #1 seed don't you think?

We were a 1 seed when we lost to 6-6 Syracuse.

I totally agree with you. I remember that LSU game very well. If not for that pick this game would have come down to a field goal. Either way, we are not elite in offense. Bama is. They are the gold standard. They have former NFl coaches that know how to cultivate their talent for the college and pro game on offense. We don't. Until we do, it's going to be like this for a loooooonnnngggg time.

I'm looking forward to every game for the rest of the season. Our D was missing a stud, yet played very well. The O will get better. I'm not ready to quit, like many on this board.
