Hunter Tyson did pretty good in the rebound column too. If he didn’t get the rebound he blocked out and allowed another Tiger get it. I don’t know what the bigger story was last night, rebounding or shooting. A good “problem” to have!

For those that actually played the sport they comment upon. It’s just so hard to care what couch coaches think, when it’s obvious you never touched a ball in an actual practice, much less a game. The idea that BB wasn’t working on rebounding since the 1st practice is astonishing to those that played, even if it was years ago. They work on all aspects of the game. It is up to the players to execute in game. For example, If the team doesn’t hit 3s, it is NOT because they didn’t shot 3s in practice, in spite of Tnet idiots beliefs. Maybe this will help you understand - DJU practiced the exact same things TL worked on, as well as DW. He just didn’t have a gamer personality, so he practiced well, played poorly. Now, in hoops, things are different. Nobody goes undefeated. The whole quad win thing is messed up. The best teams in the next 2 weeks should be in the dance, regardless of early season performance bc that is where the coaching comes into play. If a team starts well, finishes poorly, they should be excluded. Start 0-7 and win out? You should be in… I just keep hoping somebody actually wants to understand how things work, as opposed to displaying their ignorance daily. Just because it hasn’t worked so far, doesn’t mean it isn’t worth trying. I am thankful for the 10-12 people on here that aren’t morons. The rest should be on Facebook.

I think the whole team worked on "hustle". They were a lot of fun to watch and if you noticed the last 3-6 minutes it looked a bit like they looked against UL. Which is understandable given they were up by 20 points and trying to use clock. Before that the guys were flying around and playing very inspired defense and offense. Great to see and i hope they can continue for the next few games.

Playing a straight zone defense leaves you open too …

… giving up offensive rebounds.
Blocking out effectively is easier when you guard a specific man and know where he is when the shot goes up.
