Business is business, but to serve on a committee with Bob Bowlsby working hand in hand to expand the CFP and then to poach two of his teams is nothing but a back stabbing slime ball move. He's just an unethical piece of crap.

He saw where the winds were blowing and was bold enough to make the first move. Acting rather than reacting. That's what real leadership does.

ESPN had to be involved. Both sides needed to know what the payout would be. So ESPN had to give out a number. Is that tampering and influencing the structure of college football?

"Is that tampering and influencing the structure of college football?"
Tampering? Sorry but providing information about a possible future contract isn't tampering in any way, shape, or form. Also, no contract has been breached. OU and Texas chose not to renew, and that is wholly within their rights as stipulated in the existing contract.
Influencing the structure of college football? What does that even mean, and how is it illegal? Getting your fee fees hurt isn't a legal argument.

What if ESPN initiated the idea by offering 10m per year more to each school in the SEC and to Oklahoma and Texas. I am not talking about breaking any laws. I am talking about ethics and realizing that there are problems and external interference with college athletics concerning tv networks shoe manufacturers etc.

Sorry, but that's how big business works. As long as there were no illegal actions, which you've already conceded, then it's fair for business entities to actively seek out beneficial arrangements. Schools, conferences, TV Networks, and even shoe companies are all entitled to act in their own best interests as long as those actions are within the current legal and contractual boundaries.
For you to say that there are ethical issues with "problems and external interference with college athletics concerning tv networks shoe manufacturers etc.", I'm not convinced you have any valid point here. Ethically speaking things have never been better for the athletes now that the ball is rolling on fair compensation for their efforts. NIL is most likely just the first step here as the ethical pendulum continues to swing in favor of the athletes.

Why not just chant SEC, SEC? That’s what you’re really arguing.

Maybe the problem is not that laws were broken but that there are no laws or rules in place to be broken.

You're putting a lot of faith into what amounts to nothing more than a gentleman's agreement. There's no concrete plan only vague platitudes. There's no contractual agreement binding any of the parties to anything at all.
It's naïve at best, arrogant at worst, to entertain the notion that any one of these schools or conferences won't jump at an opportunity they perceive to be in their own best interest even if it means breaking this gentleman's agreement.

It amazes me how people act like certain things “had” to happen.

None of this “had” to happen. None of this was inevitable.
There is value in amateurism at the college level. There is value in limiting transfers. There is value in smaller conferences. There was value in the college bowl game tradition. The idea that this is all “inevitable” or “progress” is contrived.

That's your opinion, and you're entitled to it. Doesn't make it right or wrong.
The reality is however quaint all the valuable things you listed are, the real driver is and always has been money. None of the "values" you listed trump the almighty dollar.

If what you say is true, college football has lost its way.

It's supposed to be about bright, motivated students who go to college to get an education, who also happen to play football because they enjoy it.
Thankfully, the ACC, Big 10, and Pac-12 have banded together to stand up to the $EC and their lame attempt to control college football. It seems that there is still some shred of dignity and purity left in college football.

Judge, you should read Justice Gorsuch's opinion of the Court to see how far from pure and dignified college athletics has always been.
His opinion starts on page 5 of the PDF:

Good business man.... Trying to interpret the future and make moves accordingly. Doing his best job for his conference. Would take him over Swafford every time! Wish there was a way to "cancel Swafford".....

My guess is that OU and/or Texas was basically begging to bail on the B12 and he wasn't going to turn down a good deal. I am just waiting to see how Texas handles being "one of the teams" in a conference as you know, the SEC aint going to lift a finger about horns down. Normally the middle finger is pointed up in the SEC, but I guess they will make that exception for texas.
Texas bailing on a ship they sunk.
