Single tickets

Tailgating with friends but definitely open to sitting by myself (assuming I'm in the Clemson section) if it means saving a lot of money for a single ticket. From everyone's experience, are single tickets typically cheaper at the last minute? Any advice on this?

By no means is this a guarantee, but had a co-worker last year that our company sent him to AZ the same week as the NCG. So no pressure - company paid for flights, rooms, etc - if he didn't get a ticket at his price limit, he would watch on TV, no loss. So he waited until day of game, went on S-H, found a $450 single ticket for $125.

This game is not 2000 miles away from us this season. Good luck getting a ticket like that for this game. Will not happen.
