Why would you think if we happen to win out including the ACCCG, we would not be in the playoffs? Perhaps instead of making false assumptions or assuming the worst, it would be best to wait to see how it plays out.

We just be the first 2 loss team to make the playoffs. It's extremely slim. Anyway, I will say that I would take anyone other than Georgia.

The chance may be slim but you stated we can't make the playoffs which I don't to be true. Especially so since there seems to be more parity than in most years. There may be carnage where there are a bunch of two loss teams in the running. Assuming we win out (maybe not likely but possible), the ACC champion will have an excellent shot as we would have beaten ND and FSU (CG) with our only losses to ranked teams.

We've had 9 CFPs, 36 teams have been selected, and none of them have ever had more than 1 loss. We've seen an 11-2 Penn State team that won the Big Ten get passed over for an 11-1 Ohio State team that they beat.
It would take some 2007-level chaos for us to have any chance. I thought this might be the season for some 2007-like chaos since none of the top teams seem too dominant this year, but so far there have been no real major upsets.

There’s absolutely 0 chance we make the playoffs even if we win out and the average margin is 30+ points … just not happening with two losses. If we win out we will be lucky to crack the top 10. If I had to choose a team to win it all besides us though I’d have to pull for someone like Washington or even Texas.

I wouldn't mind that. Even a random team like Washington would work.

This would have been a good year for 12 teams with no teams clearing standing out.

None! If we don't compete for or win the title, it should remain vacant.

Penn State. Went up there for the white out this year as a bucket list item. Great fan base that has been through a lot.

Wouldn't be an ironic twist if a Pac team, like Washington or Oregon won it, with all of the talk about that conference falling apart? I don't think USC has the defense.
