I think we'd trade Offenses with Coastal right now to be honest. WE SUCK and Dabo/Elliott are whistling sweet nothings in DJs ear while he refuses to be a confident building block during games. There's no energy in the offense, it's flavorless. When Spiers did the fake punt there was some of the old Clemson energy, but DJ is a flat battery.

Can't just overlook being just about last in the nation on offense though, can you?
A large part of why we have one close to the #1 team and an OT loss is because of our elite defense. Let's keep that in perspective too.

Nobody is down it’s just unbelievable how bad we are on offense. Nobody saw it coming , then for 6 weeks have almost the exact game plan

Well if we all come on and talk about how good we are in (when we are), then we should call out how bad we are. When its obvious that this offensive train has come completely off the tracks. That is despite top 10 recruiting, top facilities, and one of the highest paid coaching staffs. Face it we suck on offense and its embarrassing! Swinney must change some things. Promoting another Clemson to coach oline is a mistake and Grisham needs to "cut his teeth" in D2!!

He's also not getting paid $10 million to coach. This is just such a stupid post. Whether or not he could do it better, it doesn't change the fact that anyone with an inkling of football can see how badly this offense is coached. Also, you're assuming Elliott ever knew how to coach or Dabo how to call plays. But we've seen the playcalling regress ever since Morris left and it declined even worse when Scott left.

I agree the offense has regressed but get over Morris.. his stuff works when it’s working and doesn’t when it doesn’t. How many times Morris beat SC? Tricks and flashy plays don’t always work and he never knew how to slow down the game to let his defense catch a break. I’ve seen him go 3 and out in less than a minute. I’m sick of the play calling but I don’t think Morris is the answer either. The in between we had with Scott and Elliott is where we thrived and need to get back to.

Yep. I rounded up for the post. Its actually 8,777,550.00 . Does that help you? Still same message. Of all the true contenders we are in the middle of the biggest drop-off of all the "real"" contenders in the playoff era. Its embarrassing! Anyone that says otherwise is blind and sees everything Clemson as perfect! Dangerous mindset. Changes will have to be made to fix this. Major offensive changes or it will not be corrected to the levels of before.

than with him. If he could've figured out Stoudt, the way many want Elliott to figure out DJ, we'd have sure been a lot better, because that defense was nasty

It was really fun - win, lose or draw, the Tigers played hard and the fans appreciated their effort.
I think the win or die for money approach makes it less fun all around and scapegoating is now the actual game, played with a football.
