I've worked in D1 FCS and D2 offices, and there was no real trophy. It was voted on by the SIDs and the conference SID would break a tie if one occurred. It was just an honor. Actual OPOY and DPOY (maybe even special teams POY) got a real trophy or plaque, can't remember which now.

But we were all poor. Maybe a multimillion dollar ACC ships them something.

I have a former student-athlete on Louisville's coaching staff. If they ever win one, maybe I'll ask him :)
