There were a lot of OSU players and coaches in the white sideline doing that return! no flag

I don't think a sideline penalty would have any impact on the touchdown anyway. Maybe a warning and if they did call it they would impose the penalty on kickoff

Would've changed nothing

Day was on the green as the guy wit the ball was going past - could have blocked for him

Shameful. Shocking that announcers missed it too. But I guess they were too busy cheering on Herby's alma mater.

It’s only a penalty if a player or coach makes contact with an official or player in the field of play or in the 2 yard sideline zone. Day and company should have received a sideline warning.
