All the Lamar Jackson love fest. Sure he's a dynamic player. But I seriously doubt he'll match Watson's stats from last year. I'm talking about total yardage. If Watson didn't win the Heisman being the first player in NCAA history to pass for 4k and run for 1k. Then Jackson doesn't deserve it either.

Lamar will top Deshauns stats but......


I think the Heisman committee will look at Llamar's competition and realized he padded his stats against weak teams. If it was about stats Watson would have won last year. Henry won because of his performances against top competition. I think Watson's chances of winning the heisman this year are a lot higher than anyone seems to think right now.

What needs to be taken into account is minutes played. Mind you we have had to keep DW in most games but I caught that may be the case the last few. Jackson is kept in just to pad stats against weak opponents. The kid is very deserving though. I rather have DW any day.
