the Coots each year? I have a feeling for years to come they will just hurt our strength of schedule thus effecting our playoff runs. Maybe our new in-state rival should be The Citadel.

Sorry to overreact. Humor is hard to recognize from words on a page. Added confusion was as a result of Gamecock fans for a while ranting ad nausea that our program was in their rear view mirror, and they should no longer be playing us. They were NOT trying to be funny. When I saw yours, I immediately said, "Oh Dear Lord."

A little history - the coots were saying that in 1970 after they won 3 in a row and in 2013 after they won 5 in a row.
Don't get cocky. Last time I checked we have won one in a row. I expect their best effort.

...would rather "rival" with the UGA doggies. Better tradition, better program, better national image. We are unfortunately stuck with playing the stupid game with the coots by law. While the schools have a long and torrid association, all of that is mostly irrelevant now and have virtually nothing in common except being in the same state...a whole different type student attends USuCk. There is no rivalry with them in my mind.
