I think Wes made them look better than they actually are. We should have blown them out of the stadium…but I definitely think they should be in after that comeback. But the committee putting bama at 11 last week makes me think they were trying to guarantee them a spot, so I would be surprised if the committee did the right thing here and kicked Bama out

You realize that he is the one controlling the defensive attack, right? Simple adjustments may not have stopped them in their tracks, but it would have definitely put the game out of reach for them. Especially when we went into the 4th quarter with a 31-14 lead

I think SMU should be in. Bama shouldn't have put themselves in this scenario by losing 3 games, with 2 of them being against unranked opponents. That's just how the apples fall, sucks to suck.

They totally belong. We got out to that hot start, but I still never felt comfortable with any lead in that game. That is a really good team, loaded with athletes on both sides of the ball. No ranked wins, but no unranked losses.

It would be a really bad look for the committee to leave off a highly ranked exam that lost its championship game on a last second FG. Would probably cause teams to start opting out of their championship games and they definitely don't want that so I'd guess they get in and after the second half last night I think they should.

Without Clemson's beautiful 1st Qtr from the Defense and Cade & Wesco, and the great last minute return, pass and Hauser FG, SMU played with an edge most of the game.
Bama lost to Vandy and Oklahoma making them inconsistent and undeserving within the SEC.
