I already know what I will do if I'm still up in 27 minutes (likely). VP (one of several, but over our group) will be at the office in the morning briefly. He will likely be gone if I roll in at normal time. Should I call it an early night, or watch the whole game. I'm leaning towards he will never remember me anyway (rather large company).

Be at work at 8, or whatever your normal time is. Never let anybody “see you sweat” over a late night, or anything else.

I guess I'm just...confused or appalled by the tizzy everyone was in today. Like the president of the US was coming or something. Not used to the office life. Been working remote for 15 years.

Uhh.....no. Engineer for the largest power transmission company in the world. I use "engineer" lightly though because I didn't go to the school I love and the term is used loosely for my role. What are you? An influencer? Hope not
