If this is true, it would be rather ironic, given that in his introductory speech to the team, Sanders touted the city of Boulder as having few of the problem detailed in the story.

One of the fights started because the 2nd string QB hadn't paid his gambling debt to Prime's son Sheduer. So not only are they fighting but they are gambling to the point that debt collection turns to violence.
I read another article where a local beat writer does not think Coach Prime makes it past this season with Colorado and even suggests that he may be asked to step down before season ends once a .500 season isn't achievable. True or not, I definitely could see it happen.
