But his recruiting skills have always been above average.
In many ways, he mimics Dabo with culture and focus.
Much like Dabo it’s critical what coaches he surrounds himself with to be successful.
However, Dabo has nothing to prove and Beamer has everything to prove as a “head coach”.
I think the Palmetto State rivalry is going to matter more than ever the next few years.

Beamer is a rookie compared to any veteran head coach that has been coaching for years.
This is Dabo’s 17th year as a head coach.
This is Beamer’s 5th year.
Only time and experience can make you a veteran at something.

But I do not think they were the better team.
They have full bragging rights until November. But the better team lost the game. All the way up to being inside the 10 with a chip in shot to win the game… with a better decision by the QB we win.
They had 7 points going into the 4th. We had opportunities to close out the game and we didn’t do what we needed to do.
The better team lost the game. The better team did not win the game. That’s what I saw out on the field.
That game kind of summarizes exactly what we need to do to be elite:
1. Cade must be more consistent. That INT at the end of the coot game was totally on him. He MUST be more mentally sharp all game every game.
2.Defense. Intensity and focus.
Those two things define why we lost the Carolina game and those are all that held us back last season.

We’re 1-2 in the last 3, with the 2 loses at home. Coaching was the biggest reason, play calling and an OJT DC with no fire and intensity. No more excuses, it is what it was.

When we have lost to the costs the games are decided most of the time by less than 7 points. Look at the times we have beat them like the crazy coots they are 20,30, 40 plus points.
The OL kid that committed to the coots was chasing a big pay day.

Personally I think that program is treading water at best.
They lost 23 players in the portal alone. Bringing in 18 portal players. No real program building, just bandaids.

For some reason, Dabo has propped up Shame Beaner as he's gotten started as a head coach.
I think this year Dabo let's 'little brother' stand on his own feet and face the harsh realities of the coaching business without any kid gloves on.
1st game first... beat LoserAnna, but down the road when the Peckerheads number comes up, Clemson is gonna flat out embarrass the 'SuCs this year!

South Carolina is nothing more than an afterthought to Dabo and the tigers of late.
That's a natural development given how lopsided the rivalry has become.
Clemson is guilty of looking ahead to the following week when we play for a conference championship ( every year ).
Something completely foreign to the silly dirtpeckers won still treat the rivalry game like their Super Bowl. Because it is.

Like it or not they’ve got a lot better talent than they’ve had in a long time and could very well beat us again this year! I am sick and #### tired of seeing us lose to those ######## from Columbia!! Dabo needs to get his head out of his ### and stop letting little Beamer win on the field and on the recruiting trail! Worst part is we could and should have easily beat them last year! Idgaf who are coach is losing to them is just unacceptable and I’m sick of it. They should never even be on the same level as Clemson but they are now and could pass us by in the next few years. Our recruiting sucks. Just flat ####### sucks. This upcoming class is propped up by a bunch of 4 start OL recruits (not necessarily a bad thing). No elite D line recruits other than Dre Quinn…. DLU could be a thing of the past if Eason and Rumph don’t start doing some #### recruiting. STOP WITH THE 3 STAR PROJECTS AND GET SOME STUDS.
