I think it’s more crazy to make generalizations about people with no empirical data. You know NOTHING about the people on this board. Except that they may or may not be humans. Some might be AI bots. Some may be head coaches like Jimbo Fisher trolling Clemson fanatic boards. We just don’t know.

Nah I feel I can get a good read on people and can tell who the whiners are. Those are the easiest to pick out. Not rocket science. If you make 8 out of 10 negative ( ( (normally about nothing that matters) posts then you might be one of the ones the OP is referring to.
One does not have to be all knowing to figure that out. If it is so called bots then they would fall into the problem category as well.

Why would you itch about Clemson looking like 6 years ago Clemson...a plethora of WRs, QB we've always wanted...a RB who runs over and through folks...a 1st team D that is tops...our 4th team D is better than most of the ACCs 1st. We are just getting started...in a few weeks our 2 & 3 team Ds will be killing it...bask in the glo, Ho!

My complaint is that I'm seeing 2nd string guys get mauled at the line of scrimmage, and completely whiff on tackles. That tells me we're a handful of injuries away from being much worse on defense

Fan. Short for fanatic. Fanatic-one who has an unreasonable love or support for a team. Fanaticism is what makes sports great. I know boosters that donate seven figures that have very loud criticisms of coaches and players. People always confuse the pursuit for perfection with hate. It happens. Every fanatic would rather see a 77-7 beatdown rather than 59-35. Just because someone can complain after a win solidifies the definition of fanatic. I remember being scoffed at and scolded for trying to run Ken Hatfield out of town after finishing 10-2. He SHOULD have won a Natty with that roster. Ford would have. That’s the point. The BEST is the standard.
The point is just keep being fanatics. I love it. Spew your vitriol and nonsense. That what fan boards are for. Remember, we’re all fanatics at the end of the day. I’d rather NOT censor opposing views.

If we can deal with our schedule AND beat Miami, we don’t belong in the playoffs anyways. Playing the backups is much more important than running scores up.

Yea there are definitely a few that must be a lot of fun to tail hate with.
I hate it for the defense when looking at overall defensive rankings but believe gaining experience trumps that by a long shot.

I totally agree with the OP. No matter how successful Clemson , Dabo, the other coaches and the players are, there are going to be some fans that find something negative to post about the team.
IMO I think we are in a position to get back in the top of the college football rankings. We have some really talented young players.
We usually struggle with NC State but Saturday we owned State 👍 . What made the game remotely close was the number of back ups we played.
I feel good times are in Clemson’s future.

Feels amazing to have an explosive offense again. Coaches are doing a great job, especially Luke. Our kicking game is back to a reliable state and our 1&2s look really good. I know alot of folks are high on Lukas but I think Hampton might take his spot eventually. Wesco,TJ,AW,TB will probably be the top 4 WR by season end but I like Stella & Randall is starting to flash. If there's any reason for concern it would certainly be depth on Defense bc our 3&4s aren't just learning they are some of our lowest rated recruits. 13man class is concerning and low totals have hurt our depth. If we can stay healthy that won't be a problem and the Coaches are doing everything they can to get live reps to the backups.(smart move) Any Tiger fan that's not feeling ecstatic about where we are has issues. Can't wait to see where we are by playoff time. GO TIGERS!!!!!
