There's really nothing for anyone to argue, it is what it is. All Clemson can do is focus on Clemson and this season. I feel confident that those who make the big decisions will do what is best for Clemson going forward.

This complaining about the ACC is getting extremely boring. Please give it a rest.

Three things...
Sep 4, 2022, 1:19 PM
|
|
1. The SEC, as a collective entity, is obviously superior to the ACC, as a collective entity.
2. Clemson is not the ACC. We are a program that just so happens to be in it. So Clemson can still be the best TEAM (I don't think we are this year yet) in the country in a mediocre conference.
3. South Carolina is vastly inferior to Clemson and their conference affiliation has nothing to do with the rivalry.

If Oregon didn’t have good uniforms, Nike money, and name recognition they wouldn’t of been ranked. The pac12 is worse then the ACC but you never hear anyone say it. UGA will be good but they played a jv team good lord.

The other thing Oregon had going for them in the preseason polls was GA being the first game on their schedule. If it is at all possible, GA’s opponents will be ranked the week before they play them. They even ranked the coots a few years ago right before they played UGA. Keeps that SEC bias alive.

If we win then we're in. Period. Conference does nothing fir teams like UofSC. Having a good conference isn't completely unimportant, but having a great team trumps every single bit of it.
Go Tigers. Period.

“The ACC” is 10-2 so far. Is that good? You know, numbers don’t lie.

And it is going to be an embarrassing loss at that. Actually the entire league loses due to what GT did with ticket sales. The optics will be terrible for a national audience. The league needs to step on and not allow this anymore.

And ACC will be 11-3 no matter who wins (Clemson or GT). Today ACC would be 9-! without the Louisville-Syracuse game. in other words, entering next weekend , ACC will be 9-1 and SEC will be 13-0 in Out of Conference play.

Screw the SEC
State and UNC played in state teams that are quality opponents and played them on the road and it was ECU and App State’s Super Bowls. UNC does have defensive problems though so I don’t see them winning more than 7 games. Mulligan for State, they will be better off because of that game. Wake up call.
Pitt beat a good WVU team in a heated rivalry game. That was a solid win for the ACC.
VT and BC were the only teams who let the conf down. Both had no business losing their respective games.
FSU is representing the conf well. It would be huge if they hang on to win this one.
It’s week 1. Let’s let things play out a little bit more before we go all off the edge.
