The only thing they really had on Clemson was the SEC network.
I like the sound of that! But I find it kind of hard to believe that SEC schools are pitching the SEC network to potential recruits. Do the recruits help them balance the checkbook? Hope we tell our recruits to expect to play on ABC and ESPN not a conference channel that will reach very few TV sets by comparison.

If we can add DJ Jones or Settle to go with Sterling and Gage the interior would be set for a few yrs. Then have Huggins at SDE and say Austin Bryant at WDE. That's a great future DL.

Sterling will not regret this decision. Don't forget, boys and girls, the last time we were able to haul in a blue chip DL recruit was Bowers. But the line we have now seems to be holding their own. We may miss on the Adams and Bullards and Clowneys, but we're definitely getting good talent and that talent is being developed well.

Yes, the D line seems to be getting very solid for a few years with what we already have and hopefully coming. Thinking back to when Brent Venables was about 50/50 with the fan base when Dabo hired him. B V and his scary looks was a Grand Slam for our defense!!!

A tremendous hire. He has installed a totally new face
and culture on our defense. Anyone watch our bowl game against mighty LSU where we just pummeled their quarterback and stopped their highly-touted running backs in their tracks. I may be mistaken, but didn't their star quarterback eventually have to leave the game?

Man, let's hope. I would think they've got to notice the recruits we're getting. If we got those two, our defense would be fearsome. I'm just encouraged that we are definitely moving up the recruiting ladder. We are now
competing with top programs and starting to win.

Kudos to Dabo and staff. We are building a team from the ground up of solid depth and character that should just be able to reload at will. This team is going to be scary good for a long time, IMO.
