The Phase 2 Memorial Stadium project also adds LED lights in the stadium, and stadium signage updates, originally set to cost $68.7 million. The home opener is September 10 at 3:30 pm hosting Furman University.

Only problem with the scoreboard pics is that they show a massive error. THE STADIUM WAS NOT DEDICATED IN 1942!!! In the 1942 first game program against PC on page 2 says the stadium will not be dedicated until after the war. In the Sept 29, 1944 TIGER paper there is a story that the stadium was named Memorial stadium BUT the dedication would be delayed until after the war. Similar info was stated in 1949. Bottom line is the stadium has NEVER been dedicated. Don't take my word, check it out yourselves.
