Sadly, there are 10's of 1000s more like him in just the US. To say we have a real problem is an understatement.
Sadly, we'll be saying the same thing in another week or two, next month and next year and the next year. It's only going to get worse too.

How do we know that this monster had mental health issues? Not every shooter has mental health issues and not everyone with mental health issues is a shooter. Not criticizing your statement at all, but the mental illness stigma is bad enough, so let's wait until the facts come out. Saying that, what an awful, tragic, incomprehensible loss of lives.

Yep, Because nobody is going to do anything about it. Politicians are too scared of getting voted out if they try to enact gun laws. Parents are too busy staring at their phones to try to teach their children right from wrong. Kids are being raised on graphically violent video games in a culture of making fun of people who are different. Two of my friends children have committed suicide since the pandemic, TWO! These were kids who came from good families, I don’t know what the answer is, but somethings got a change, people have got to stop thinking about themselves only and we’ve got to figure out a way to at the very least keep our elementary school children safe from guns.

You're speaking as a rational person.
These people are not thinking rationally. Can't believe people are making decisions worried about what their punishment may be.
Matter of fact. I don't think they are thinking. I think it's an emotional response to trama/anger/etc.

by officials as a hero. Here in the US, she would probably have been arrested for violating the gun wielding robbers civil rights. At the very least, she would have been detained for a long time for questioning.
I got a short example of how crazy we have gotten now with this cancel culture crap over here.
There was a recent shooting incident (sounds to me like the supermarket incident) that made the internet, where the police subdued the shooter after he had killed several people. The shooter had at one point held a gun to his own head, attempting to kill himself, but the police talked him out of it. A local man made the comment on his social media, that the police could have saved the state the cost of a trial if they had just let the shooter go ahead and kill himself. Something that I assure you many, many others had also thought, but didn't post. The local man was suspended without pay from his job for two weeks for that comment. Some social media watchdog obviously turned him in.

the shooters family. God has already sorted all that out. We are just left with grief for the terrible losses for all these families.
With the deterioration of modern society, no one, and no place, is safe from the truly random acts of violence. The Bible speaks of the End Times. As we look around the world today, it is hard to believe that those times are far off in the future. They are more likely much nearer than we would like to think they are.

Just so we clear.
Liberals, who are advocating letting millions of illegals in who are in large number gang members and drug dealers, want to take away guns from a population that 99.9% own guns yet manage to not kill multiple innocent people.
Liberals , who ran a platform in 2020 of abolishing the police , now want to take away guns.
Liberals, who sent the FBI after students parents because they called out the hypocrisy of a liberal school board that was seen vacationing in Mexico while locking down schools, want to take away guns.
Liberals, who had Obama send the IRS after conservative groups, want to take away guns.
Liberals, the ones in Washington and state governments, want to ban guns yet walk around with armed protection and gated houses.
I’m other words, when there are no more liberals/communist, give me a call and I’ll trade a .22 pistol for a tank of gas

The tragedy of losing a fetus doesn't even compare to losing a 8 year old child. The tragedy of losing a fetus doesn't compare with losing a wife/mother/daughter/sister. Part of the sadness of death is due to all the people that knew them and loved them and we miss them. A fetus, although it is life, doesn't even compare. My girlfriend had an abortion when I was younger. I never think about the fetus and how I miss it. I think about my Dad, Grandparents, and friends that have died. I think about great dogs that have died that were buddies. It's about relationships and how the tragedies change peoples lives. That's what is happening in TX. It's all about perspective.

A human is a human.
The abortion wasn’t sad to you, because it was chosen. Of course you never missed that child, because YOU didn’t think of it as a child. To you, it was getting rid of an inconvenience that would’ve made your own life harder.

I can see the fetus as a potential child. I knew I was 16 as was my girlfriend and we weren't ready to be parents. I never knew the fetus. That's why I don't find it as tragic as the people I loved in my life that have died. It's much more tragic. Relationships are what makes these things tragic. I guarantee it's a lot harder on the families in TX losing these kids than it would be on them aborting a fetus. Mentally these families may never be happy again.

You and every other pro-birther would be a lot more convincing if you actually cared about the human after birth. But no, you continue to support politician after politician that has no interest in building the strong social safety and state welfare nets to support children and mothers. There's no interest in providing the mother with the necessary health care through pregnancy, no interest in providing post birth support to the mother such that the newborn's needs. It's almost like the republicans are more interested in punishing the woman for having sex than they are supporting a human. Surely that's not the case though right?
