On the surface, could work, but being big doesn’t automatically make you elite. I wouldn’t have a
High expectations for next season, but maybe if he stays another year or two he might start to pick it up. The physicality of CFB corners is night and day from any physicality that he knew when he played in high school. Worth a shot, but I’m in the believe it when I see it camp!

He only has one year, and I agree with you that his contributing this year is a long shot. I hope it happens but not counting on him seeing the field outside of mop up duty.

if he has to play this year then we are in serious trouble from the tight end room. If we havent recruited and developed tights ends currently on team any better than this then shame on us. No way someone that hasnt even plaued football in years can walk in and contribute over our current roster tight ends. By the way , we are told we have no room for anymore portal guys like a punter or safety that we really need , so how do we make room for Sheff???

I think Shieff could be sneaky push cush QB on short yardage situations. His 6-8 frame very strong hands would be great in that situation when need to get a yard or less.
