Very early in the season. Vival game.
But yep, it was an awful loss. Wish we could scratch it from our resume. Maybe every team should be able to scratch one early season loss.

You must not understand what losing 12 games in a row looks like.

You must not understand what sarcasm looks like. I even used a winky face face for you.
Those are the excuses used when trying to justify why we lost to teams like USuC and GT.

Been brutal and they have taken multiple top 5-10 teams to the wire - they are a snake bit team. We lost because Lakhin was in major foul trouble and fouled out - same story as some of our other losses

Genuine question. After losing 12 in a row, why will the sc loss stay a quad 2 loss? What makes them good enough to stay quad 2 with so many losses?

Their NET is 92. That is the lowest in the league

so basically they can’t really drop much. Q2 away games are anyone ranked 76-135 so they are upper Q2. In fact, if they win a hand full of games down the stretch they may end ups Q1 loss which is rankings 1-75 away.

COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE???
I wonder what their record would be in the SEC if Stute didnt get hurt? He went 5-7 from 3 against us.
They lost by 4 to #19ole miss They lost by 4 to #8 texas a&m They lost by 5 to #22 miss st They lost by 1 to #3 florida They post by 3 to #1 auburn.
Im sure they would have a few more ranked wins if they had a random player go off from 3.

the SEC gets "quality losses" in football, basketball, and baseball.

It just means more. Every SEC team would be undefeated in any other conference. FACT!
Duke is so lucky they didn't have to play the chickens. Coots obviously would have just smacked them around.

No, it means there is some additional context, and people that think its shoild be near impossible to lose to them are stupid. Sad that you are an app guy. You obv arent too bright. Didnt go to many classes at raley hall, huh?

Thanks for the insult though.
I feel a lot better about our loss to the coots knowing they lost some close games to some ranked teams. Hopefully people will understand that when they put the asterisk next to their record

Nice, I had a few friends at Walker. Have you been to Boone lately? A lot has changed!
All I'm saying is that the Coots are capable of playing with some really good teams. To act like there should be no way for them to beat us, is not fair or accurate.
2 things can be true at once.
The loss sucked and it was a bad loss.
USC has had some injuries and they have a top 20 pick in the NBA draft. One of their injuries dropped 19 points on us. They played well and we didn't.

It’s changed a lot since my time up there but that’s also been 20yrs now.
I don’t expect us to be perfect and realize that upsets happen. I think there is a difference between an upset and a bad loss where you just crap the bed. The GT game falls in that category.
The coot game may not have been that 2 months ago but the more games they lose, the worse it looks for us. I don’t think many on here would chalk it up to just having a bad game, or being off, if we lost to them now.
That’s why I’m expecting a strong finish. The ACC is not that good and we close out with the bottom of the barrel. If we can do that it will start to change a lot of minds on here. Any loss to those teams will just reinforce the idea that we can’t turn the corner.

They had 3 guys with 4 fouls early in the/nd half and we did not go after them on offense to make them foul out. And they did go after chef to make hone foul out

It seems weird this one obscure game gets brought up almost every week and asks the same question. The same answer is given but they have so little basketball knowledge the answer is never understood. It’s almost like there is so little for the LF to criticize lately they need to go all the way back to November to find unhappiness.

Against us, they hadn’t had the snake-bitten feeling yet and had confidence they could pull out a clase game. Now I bet it feels like whatever they do they can’t win a close game.
