He's terrible and a racist by any definition. It's shameful to see posts here directing criticism of Obama, the best president of my lifetime. What has this world come to?

You asked two questions

First … we must endure four years of DJT because our Congress will not remove him.
Second … our world has arrived at an unacceptable state in which the maxim “It’s stupidity that got us into this mess and it is stupidity that will get us out” has been adopted.

Because you propped up a cognitively impaired Biden, pushed him out only when you had to and gave us word salad Kamala.
Obama was so great we got Trump 1.0.
Trump is his own worst enemy and appears off the rails on a host of issues, so run a moderate and the Dems will win in 2028.
Run an AOC type and the Dems will lose again.

Propped up? Naw, they actively lied and covered up his decline, which began shortly after being elected. Who was running the country because it was not Sunset Joe.
Obama had nothing to do with Trump 1.0, that was coronating Hillary(her turn) that brought on Trump 1.0.
Trump 2.0 was indeed word salad Kamala after it was made painfully clear Sunset Joe was toast
Progressives (leftists) are pushing for an abandonment of middle of the road and go all out to the left. God Luck with that, you are gonna need a really good Garmin to wonder in that wilderness.

Biden and Kamala did not run in the Republican primary. How was a convicted felon able to win the party nomination over far more sane candidates. Is this a reflection of the intelligence of the republican base in general? 😆

My top 3 and bottom 3 as of today. Only 49yo but whatever.

Top Presidents:
1 - Reagan 2 - Clinton 3 - GWB/Obama basically tie
Bottom Presidents*:
1 - Trump 2 - Carter 3 - Biden
* - Prior to Trump's second term getting off to such a bad start, I would have kept Carter as the worst President, but Trump has jumped Carter in the past few months. January 6th didn't propel Trump quite enough to top the crappy list, but now, he's KING!!!
Now, ask me under what party I'm registered to vote in SC, and how many dems I've voted for in 48 years. Well, 30 years.

It's interesting. History never judges Presidents by their party or ideology
Mar 21, 2025, 9:20 AM

Or how well they furthered their party, or whatever else. History remembers Presidents based on the results of their leadership. In the history books, the personality, charisma, character, and leadership abilities of the President, and the results that come from those PERSONAL characteristics, are infinitely more important than their party or ideology. As a conservative, I fully understand there can be, and ARE some democrat Presidents who have done much more to boost America, and likewise some conservative presidents who have done less for the country. And vice versa.
It's just such a shame we are tribalized into parties and ideologies, because that makes us blind to the PERSONAL characteristics of the leader. This is how the QUALITY OF PERSON we've chosen in primaries has steadily declined over the years, and consequently Presidents. We concentrate on their rhetoric and ideology and not on their leadership, personality, character, integrity, honesty, etc.
I will remake my list. In this new list I will list the Presidents (in order) I would vote for today (if alive and running) over other Presidents. Ford doesn't count because I was teething and don't remember him.
Carter: Reagan Clinton Obama GWB GHWB
Reagan: NONE
GHWB: Reagan Clinton GWB Obama
Clinton: Reagan
GWB: Reagan Clinton Obama
Obama: Reagan Clinton GWB
Biden: Reagan Clinton Obama GWB GHWB
Trump (2nd term): - All of them..... Reagan Clinton Obama GWB GHWB Biden Carter

Nixon was in office when I exited the birth canal.
Hmmm, I need to do my own list.
Reagan has always been top in my book for several reasons. But over time, the non-inhaling saxophone playing cigar smoking dude has closed the gap.
