I have a strange feeling Nnoko, Djitte AND Smith will all be needed in the effort to contain Okafor.
Sure hope JB's injury isn't serious. But have faith the staff will do whats best for him insofar as playing on the ankle

It's gonna be their guards that kill us. Just like when they had JJ Reddick, I always said shut down everybody else, if he can shoot enough 3's to win the game by himself then so be it. You try to shut to shut him down, he still gets 20 points and Melchioni? goes off for a big game. If we spend the whole game trying to stop Okafor then Cook, Jones, and Winslow are going to have a field day. The ultimate recipe for disaster is if we have one of our 7 minute scoring droughts while Dook goes on a 20 point run. JMO
As a side note, Tyus Jones is now my most hated player in the ACC.

but you're right, it the guard play that will determine the game... how well do Hall, Roper, and AA (and Harrison) do against Cook, Jones and Winslow?
(basing this on the assumption that J.B. won't be 100% and won't play his usual minutes)

You are right Sidy can "fill" the spot in the lineup, but if you watch basketball at all... you know Sidy is no Jaron. He will not fill the role.
Losing JB is like losing Boulware, Mac Alexander, Gallman and Tay Scott from the Clemson Football team.
With no JB, the chance of upset is less than 10%.

We will have to beat @ND or @Duke to get a tourney bid. If we "save him" we could easily finish 9-9 or worse.
