Running Back Recruiting

Very important we land a strong RB in the 2023 class. Hopefully we can land Chris Johnson but I am not sure how likely that is. Just taking a 0 star from Alabama will hurt us down the road when Shipley and Mafah leave. Maybe we can get Jeremiah Cobb to flip from Auburn with the new coach, but also seems unlikely. Spiller needs to prove himself on the recruiting trail.

Per Anna on Twitter Johnson has eliminated us with the rumor we would not meet his NIL requirements. Regardless CJ is still striking out.

We aren't going to sign any big names just to sit on the bench for a year or two. Heck, we just lost a relatively mediocre recruit who was already here and part of the team who wasnt willing to be third string. The idea some of these dudes expect us to pay big money for a bench player is silly but can't blame them for asking I suppose.
