Rumor mill re Satterfield at SC.

After the Vandy game, coots were calling for him to be fired immediately. Two weeks later he is the gretest OC since Steve Spurrier.
Rumor mill is he will leave SC and go to Nebraska with Matt Rhule.

Marcus Satterfield, the current offensive coordinator for Shane Beamer’s South Carolina Gamecocks program, is as close to Rhule as anyone and is seen as an addition Rhule would greatly value.
A longtime Rhule assistant, Satterfield has worked alongside Rhule at Temple, Baylor and with the NFL’s Panthers before Satterfield agreed to become Beamer’s first-ever offensive coordinator at South Carolina.

That would be a good move for him. SC fans are too bi-polar and Nebraska will give him a real chance. I’d love to see Nebraska rise again.

I have some inside info on this. Rattle s parents were upset with sattetfield all season. Saying that the style of offense was not helping Spencer. Spencer and his roommate another QB were thinking of transferring if a change wasn't made.
However, winning changes everything and now sattetfield my want to stay with a hot QB, every oc needs one.
Now I don't know sattetfields relationship with rule, friendships goes along way.
Interesting to see how it plays out

Just one correction. It was after the mizzou game. They beat vandy. Posted last week that cooters could easily been 9-2 and got laughed at.
That said, rat and team met with Satterfield and beamer. They listened, made the changes and implemented all by Tennessee game.
Sometimes, Ala ship, players are right. Do all coaches listen. No.

Have you been to their message boards? They’re all celebrating the fact that he may go to Nebraska. Outside of the last 2 weeks he has been an awful, awful OC so I hope he stays.
