Many rumblings about Venables wanting to hire Goodwin as his new DC with Zac Alley heading to West Virginia. Something to keep an eye on.

Agreed, he has a great analytical mind for FB. I wish we could keep him in another capacity, but that seldom works out

He wouldn’t be nearly as bad working for Brent because Brent develops the players on the field. All Goodwin would have to do is call plays like he’s an NFL coordinator. Unfortunately for us we lack on field development. You can’t have Wes Goodwin and average-good talent. He has to have elite talent
