I mean have you seen Rudolph's video highlights. I watch alot of kids film, but this guy actually dropped my jaw. He plays hungry like he wants to hurt someone. Plays with passion, heart, and aggression. Doesn't quit on a play. Imagine a Ben Boulware at defensive end. Just nasty and strong for his age.

Also Rudolph has over 38 offers! A few to note are Alabama, Auburn, Florida, FSU, NotreDame, Oregon, Baylor, and Michigan . Sometimes guys fly under the recruiting site radars and this guy has thank God. 6'4 230 right now. Pretty sure he will continue to be a defensive end after its all said! Which is allowing us to continue to pursue Foster and Singleton at LB.

And he's a worker. Wouldn't be surprised if he was 250 by next summer. I agree with your assessment of his playing ability... not sunshine pumping, he's just a violent player, with an elite motor and ethic who has 4* ability to go with it.

In Blake Vinson's recruiting profile it says he has a 4.60 shuttle. What is this?

"This 20 yard shuttle drill is designed to measure short area quickness, lateral movement, flexibility and the speed at which a player can change directions. The drill also gives scouts an idea of how well a player can keep a low center of gravity as well as their ability to sink their hips."
Thanks very much for responding!

Seen every game Logan Rudolph has played since 9th grade. He will be a HUGE asset to Clemson. Great player, even better young man.

I think the reason Rudolph is rated somewhat low

is similar to why Vic Beasley wasn't rated higher than he was. He's a tweener. Rudolph plays a ton of DE at his Northwestern but he's only listed at 228 pounds. He's probably going to play LB for us, and there's going to be a learning curve there.
He's a great athlete and still rated 4 stars by the 247 composite, and if we get him into the right position and he learns fast he could be a major impact player.
