The great ones bail their QB's out on some of the bad throws. We've seen Mike Williams, Tee Higgins, and Hunter Renfrow all do it. Even Ross showed that ability in his freshman year. Maybe it's because its still fairly early in the season, he's coming off back surgery, and had an ankle injury a few weeks ago. Maybe he just needs to settle in and get caught back up to full game speed. Relax.

Ross and DJ are definitely not in sync yet

But, that deep ball went through his hands and against NC State DJ threw two really good passes that Ross could have caught for touchdowns but did not. He just flat dropped 2 touchdown passes against state. Both were right there and he just didn’t get a hand on them.

So some of it is DJ some of it is them not being in sync and some of it is Ross.
