Wow... I've been out of town and just saw this.
I went to 19 Buffett concerts over the years (including March 7, 1980, which was my 1st date with my wife to be). He will be missed.

The pool room in my house is loaded with Jimmy Buffett and Clemson stuff on the walls.
I just told my wife, and she was in disbelief. A sad day for us both.

Anybody remember when he played at Tillman Hall in 1977? A friend and I crawled in through an open window (almost fell on the drummer)and went down and sat in front of the stage. People (not us of course) were openly smoking reefer which was funny because that old building would have gone up like a tinder box but if anybody lit anything in Littlejohn during a concert they were immediately ushered out. Buffet said, “I’m gonna teach you people about amphetamines!” Then he paused and said, “Oh I see most of you already know!”

Parrotheads mourn worldwide. When my kids were little, I use to ride down the road, singing to them to entertain/harass as we traveled. I changed the words on Margaritaville to make the kids giggle. I would sing: "Wasting Away Again in Yuppyville" and they would just laugh and laugh. R.I.P. Jimmy Boy!
