First off, Riley deserves a little heat off. Not that he’s secured his job, but we did about as good as you would hope we could the last 2 weeks.
But I am actually serious about this
Look at the blocking scheme for the screens they used, the playcalling, everything.
Riley’s weakness is using a conservative offense against good teams. The execution completely falls apart. Like LSU, SCar (2024), SMU, and more.
That was a brilliant finishing drive by Georgia

Do you really think Riley has the call whether or not to 'take the foot off the gas'? Do you really think that he has a say to keep 'projects' off the field? LOL

No tigerpaw
I said Riley has been poor at preparing his offense to run this style of offense.
Who makes the call for tempo switch is irrelevant. Point is about the execution of the actual conservative offense.
Twisting my words. Because you didn’t understand in the first place.

You’ve conceded to me saying you were twisting words. I don’t know how you could’ve taken that meaning from the post if you read it.
Sorry, but I just don’t want to let up. You likely do these things to people real life.

Coach Swinney runs a conservative offense especially with a lead. Would like to know for sure who's calling offensive plays most of time especially when Clemson gets a lead and plays to conservative in second half.

I don’t think Dabo lets him completely run the offense. I also don’t think our O-line coach is helping our offensive coordinator.

More than ever, after watching last night’s OL rotation, I’m convinced that both Tristan Leigh and Walker Parks … when they’ve been able to play … have played injured. This, again IMO, explains their average (or worse) game to game performance. I’m also highly suspicious that Elijah Thurman … with the exception of LSU game … has been injury-impaired when he was OK enough to even get out there in the field. I’m quite concerned that E.Thurman’s broken ankle from late 2024 season is far from being 100% healed, and that is before (again, I’m guessing here) he reinjured it.
All three of these impaired OL players
Remember how Dabo said, pre-LSU game, that he had 7 OL players in whom he had complete confidence as starters. He cited Brayden Jacobs as being ‘just about there’ and also mentioned Easton Ware as being just a notch below starter quality.
Welp, at least one from among those ‘7 equal / starter quality’ OL players, who is not injured, has seldom played at a level exceeding OK. There is another one from among the ‘best seven’ who has also consistently struggled to get the job done.
All of the above equates to just two from among the original ‘best seven’ who, for reasons of health + ability, that have lived up to preseason billing.
Good news is that Brayden Jacobs proved last night that he is good enough to play.
The bad news is that only three OL are good enough &/or healthy to fill out a group that requires 5 players. Blake Miller, Linthicum, and now Jacobs are those guys.
Our offense will struggle until the Guard problem gets fixed.

Funny. Georgia fans are ready to run Bobo out of town with his inept play calling.
Wonder why the huge press pool from Clemson, SC doesn’t ask the question? It’s been laid out tirelessly here.

What question
Yeah they probably are, but if they keep making the CFP then nothing changes. Good offensive and defensive coordinators aren’t easy to find.

Not only is there a big difference in talent level between UGA and Clemson but the "attitude" on the offensive side is completely different. UGA wants to line up and grind you into the earth and then spit on your grave. Clemson has to fool you to be successful with misdirection and perfect execution on tricks and deception. UGA QB is a good ol farm boy who will run you over, go find you and do it again and then laugh at you while, Clemson QB is more concerned about "hair & makeup" than Pam Bondi.

The last two weeks Riley has changed it up.
It seems he got the memo
Hopefully it continues
