I need to replace a double French door after 10 years. Anyone have experience with Renewal by Anderson or Home Depot or other option?

The Home Depot doors will rot out again in 10years. But then again they are cheap.
Go to a windows and doors place if you want lasting quality. Even the "name brand" stuff like Anderson, Mueller, ect...they sell at Home Depot and Lowes are of lesser quality because they are specifically made for mass production to sell cheap at the big box stores.
If you want to save some money (a lot) go the DIY route and get the Home Depot door. It's a good looking door and keeps the weather out. Just don't expect it to give you more than 10-15 years.

Why did you need to replace it?
Did it rot? Did it get wet and not dry out ?
Was it painted?
No matter who makes the door or how much one pays there are some things that will kill it and some that will help it

The current was never installed correctly so the seal does not work at the bottom of the door. Would need to take it out and re-set it to fix the issue. It is a metal door and the foam is coming out from around the seal which holds the glass in place. It gets afternoon sun so it bakes all summer. The cost of fixing the issue plus the expected life of the door tells me a replacement is the best path.

Understood. I think if it’s getting heat afternoon sun you may want to consider shading it somehow or just plan to refinish it it every 3 yrs. I agree that cat sun can be very harsh

Get a decent weight metal door...and make it rust proof.
A metal core door with a wooden exterior...and treat the wood part with a coating.

you get the box frame to come with it. The frame will be built to handle the weight and wear and tear.

Whatever you decide the key to a door "doing its job" is installation. Not all handymen/women can install a door properly. Replaced the three outside doors on my house 3 years ago. Based on the price of the doors (metal) and installation it cost almost as much as a new house or so it seemed. But, the installer did an outstanding job. Doors are working as they should. My advice is spend a little more but get what you want.

Stay away from Anderson unless you want to lose an arm and a leg. Go to a local lumberyard not a chain will give you quality installers. Expect to pay for the door starting around 800for a fiberglass up to 3000 for a wood clad. Install should cost 1000 up. Tell me where you are located I might be able to steal you some place

Local guy was recommended and did not fit the door correctly even though his supervisor bragged that he did wonderful job. Had Anderson recently replace it and was more expensive than described above but seems to fit perfectly. Can't get good for cheap it seems.

I bought 2 Home Depot and 2 Lowes exterior pre-hung doors to replace 3 sliders and the front door with side panels. The 2 Lowes doors are fiberglass and holding up well in the sun. The Home Depot door installed 5 years ago used to be in the sun and would not have lasted more than another 5 to 7 years. I built a screen porch over the center of the deck and it covered the door keeping it out of the sun and most weather. It should last another 10 to 15 years now. The front door from Home Depot is in the shade all but an hour in the morning, is 6 years old and no issues.
I'm trying to find an odd ball size patio/French exterior door now. It is wood and has seen better days.
Steel or fiberglass is what I would use for exterior.

Renewal is decent product. Go to ABC Supply and look at Peachtree, Simonton, Pella and that will give you a spectrum of prices. I think they still carry those brands, Covid screwed up so many companies. But typically if you are going to install by yourself, just ask ABC for a cash contractor discount and tgey normally give 10% or more.
Vinyl clad doors hold up to weather well if they are good quality.

We had Renewal by Andersen give us a quote on new windows for our mountain cabin. After we picked ourselves up off the floor from the initial sticker shock wave, we decided to only replace a couple of large picture windows that had been leaking for years. A difficult job 3 stories high. Expensive, yes. But they are beautiful windows. The people we worked with both in sales and service were outstanding and very professional. Highly recommend them!!

The product they sell is a good product, But what they charge is close to being as Biden and Harris say is predatory. I am in retail sales and have seen their quotes form customers and have saved them lots of arms and legs.

Fiberglass. Weatherproof, good heat/cold/sound insulation, and durable. Love mine.
